Core Values
Here's what you can expect:

Quality: Bette comes prepared, prayed up, excited about what God will do in women’s lives. She comes believing that He wants to teach, encourage and heal. She brings her own PowerPoint presentation, projector, and notes for the group. She can bring discussion questions if requested.

Informality: Bette is a down-to-earth, real-life example of walking the Christian walk over years of family and ministry life. Her relaxed style allows audiences to take off masks and get to the real work of loving and encouraging one another.

Vulnerability: Rather than lord the truth over her audiences, Bette shares her mistakes along with her triumphs. She does not presume to know everything about anything. She can only share what God has been kind enough to teach her.

Laughability: Bette has a great sense of humor, and loves to help people laugh!

Humility: Bette believes that her work is one small part of the kingdom — not the whole enchilada! She won’t demand special treatment, or favor. You’ll find she becomes one of the girls!

Scriptural Integrity: Bette has been reading the Bible most every day since 1979. Over the years, she has worked to let Biblical truths become a deep part of her. She’s studied and examined the scriptures because she loves them, and she will pass that love onto her audiences.

Community: Bette values each member of God’s family, in every shape and personality and denomination. When possible, she will meet with members of an audience, giving encouragement wherever she is able.

Honesty: Bette knows that she’s only human. When in doubt, she’s confident enough to say, “I don’t know the answer to that question.”

Empathy: Bette is able to relate to all kinds of human pain. She takes the time to listen, without offering clichés for difficult circumstances.
